NYC's love of hot dogs knows no bounds. From the classic organic dog at Bark, to the slaw-and-sauce-coated dogs at DBGB and Fatty Cue, there's a delicious sausage on a bun for every taste. I shot these three plus a couple more I'll post later as part of Time Out NY's "Best Hot Dogs" feature last month. My personal favorite was the Fatty Cue dog (in the photo with the red checkered tablecloth). The slow roasted shredded pork filling and beef fat drippings practically melts in your mouth. And the tangy slaw topping has a hint of lemongrass to counter all that fat and make it feel more like a summer time treat than a heavy winter indulgence.
